There are some wedding days that just seem to fly by, and Bogi & Ben’s day at Dundurn Castle was definitely one of them! From the moment I arrived, there was such a fun energy in the air, and I knew we were in for a great day.
We kicked things off with Bogi & Ben’s first look at the back of Dundurn Castle. First looks are always one of my favourite parts of the day because you get that quiet little moment together before everything gets busy. And, of course, I was there ready to capture all the reactions, laughs, and happy nerves.
After the first look, we jumped straight into family photos and wedding party photos. Everyone was so easygoing, which made moving through the different combinations quick and painless - always a win when there are a lot of people to wrangle!
Then it was time for the ceremony at the Maple Walk site. If you haven't seen this spot at Dundurn Castle, the view is seriously hard to beat. With the lake stretching out behind the ceremony, it made for such a beautiful backdrop as Bogi & Ben said their vows and officially became husband and wife.
Once the ceremony wrapped up, we took some time for couple portraits around the grounds. This is where I get to slow things down a little and let my couples actually enjoy being together while I photograph all the in-between moments. We wandered around the property, made use of the gorgeous architecture and greenery, and grabbed plenty of those classic just-married portraits along the way.
