Choosing a photographer is a big deal! If you're considering me for your wedding, we may see each other a whole lot, so let’s make sure we will have a good time!
My philosophy is that it is your wedding day so let’s keep the focus on you! For the most part, I stay out of the spotlight. I capture moments as they happen instead of manufacturing your day. That way I can produce authentic images that capture the raw and emotional moments you will cherish for years to come.
During a couple session I will give you some ideas and prompts, but I will never pose you. That’s because when it comes to posing in front of the camera - I'M AWKWARD TOO! We all struggle with what to do with our hands or where to look. That's why I like to make my sessions more like a series of fun activities. Less awkward standing and posing and more natural movement! Feel free to laugh, tell some stories, and just have a good time. To me, your photos should be equally as much about the experience as the final product.
If you’re interested in getting together for a session, or want to learn more about me and my style, feel free to fill out my contact form and I'll be happy to chat!
Want an awkward, UNCOMFORTABLE experience?
Didn't think so! Let's Talk :D
“Geoff made my husband and I feel comfortable while having our engagement and wedding photos taken. He truly went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions!”
Fun Facts about me
A little about myself, I love spending time in nature, I play guitar and ukulele, and I am a proud houseplant parent! I grew up in Waterdown of Hamilton, Ontario and spend much of my free time exploring the local sites and beautiful conservation areas. I love taking pictures of nature and I have a whole Landscape Photography Instagram dedicated to it. I also sell artwork of local scenes if that’s something that interests you! Although I must admit, however great landscape photography is, there is still nothing quite like the honor of documenting the intimate moments of a wedding and creating personal artwork that lasts generations!
