I was absolutely thrilled to capture the love story of Shannon & Phil in a stunning winter engagement session at Dundurn Castle in Hamilton! It was a bit of a colder day, but Shannon & Phil powered through! I was so impressed with their ability to stay cozy and connected, despite the snow and cold.
Dundurn Castle was the perfect location for this engagement session, with so many beautiful spots and diverse backdrops it's great year-round! I especially loved the beautiful row of trees at the back of the property. The sun cast a beautiful golden light that created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made for some truly stunning photos, with the light illuminating the couple in a truly magical way!
The lookout was also a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the waterfront and the surrounding Hamilton area.
We also of course had to take advantage of the castle's historical architecture, using the iconic pillars, arches, and elegant stone walls as backdrops for some stunning shots!
Overall, this winter engagement session at Dundurn Castle was a dream come true. I was so honoured to capture these images for Shannon & Phil and I am so excited to see what the future holds for them!
