Located on five acres of private grounds in Burlington, the David Springer Estate is a great option for couples wanting an outdoor-focused wedding that still feels organized and fully serviced. The 1835 heritage home sits in the middle of the property, surrounded by gardens, trees, and open space, creating a setting that feels secluded despite being close to the city.
This venue is best suited for couples planning a full-day celebration where everyone stays in one place - getting ready, ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dancing all happen on-site. With guest counts up to 150, it works especially well for mid-sized weddings that want a relaxed atmosphere without giving up structure and coordination.

History
Springer House was built in 1835 by David Springer, the son of a United Empire loyalist who fled to Canada after the American Revolution. Over 180 years later, the original house still stands and offers spectacular banqueting facilities with a flare of the old-world charm.
Food & Catering
David Springer Estate offers in-house catering with a structured three-course plated dinner and cocktail hour service. Weddings include passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a seated dinner and dessert service. Couples also receive a tasting session during planning to finalize menu selections. Wine service is provided during dinner and the bar includes spirits, beer, soft drinks and juices throughout the evening.
The experience is designed more like a full hosted event rather than a traditional banquet hall - staff handle coordination, timing, and guest service so the day flows naturally.
Ceremony Spaces
Ceremonies take place outdoors throughout the estate property, with multiple locations included in your rental so you can choose the setting that fits your vision best.
