Heather and Richard’s wedding day at Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club was everything you’d hope for in a stunning fall celebration—beautiful colours, golden hour glow, and two people so clearly in love. Let me walk you through their amazing day!
We kicked things off with the getting-ready photos. I started with Richard and his crew—lots of laughter, some tie struggles, but a good time all around! Then it was over to Heather and her girls, where the energy was equal parts excitement and calm focus. No second shooter today meant I got to capture both moments myself—what a treat!
Once everyone was ready, we headed to the golf course for the first look. Heather and Richard opted for a sweet private moment surrounded by the breathtaking fall colours. We took a golf cart down to the perfect spot, where Richard’s reaction to seeing Heather was priceless—it was such a joy to witness. The wedding party met us there for photos and then took the cart back while we stayed for a few extra portraits.
The wedding party photos were so much fun! Heather and Richard’s crew brought great energy, and the mix of vibrant foliage and soft light gave every shot that extra bit of magic. From there, we prepped for the ceremony, which took place outside under a soft autumn sky. Thankfully, the weather was just right—cool enough to feel cozy but not too chilly.
After the ceremony, it was golden hour time—my favourite part of the day! Heather and Richard absolutely glowed as the sun dipped behind the rolling hills of the golf course. Their natural connection made every frame picture-perfect, and I couldn’t stop smiling behind the camera.
The evening wrapped up with a warm and lively reception full of heartfelt toasts, great music, and lots of laughter. It was a celebration truly reflective of the love Heather and Richard share.
