Michelle and Daniel’s wedding at The Spice Factory was the perfect mix of moody, industrial, and joy-filled from the very start. We kicked things off with getting ready photos – the girls in the gorgeous third-floor bridal suite and the guys in the second-floor suite. Both spaces always impress me with their natural light, warm orange brick walls, and that cozy historic character that makes every shot feel rich and textured.
Once everyone was ready, we headed outside for the first look. These two absolutely lit up when they saw each other. We used a little pocket of greenery to give the moment a soft, romantic touch before wandering over to the ivy wall and graffiti alley right beside The Spice Factory. Those pops of colour, mixed with the moody industrial textures, made the perfect backdrop for their portraits. After that, we grabbed a few more photos inside to really lean into those brick, industrial vibes that make this place so iconic!
The wedding party joined us next, and we made the most of both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The industrial charm, the tall windows, the brick – it all blends so well with a fun group that’s fully ready to celebrate.
Their ceremony took place on the third floor, and it was such a vibe. Moody, intimate, warm – everything you want for a meaningful moment like this. Then it was down to the second floor for the reception, where parent dances were sprinkled between speeches, keeping the energy heartfelt and flowing all night. After dinner, everyone headed outside for a sparkler exit that felt straight out of a movie. The glow, the laughter, the excitement – so good. And once that wrapped up, it was time for dancing on the main floor, where the party truly kicked off.
Michelle and Daniel, thank you so much for having me as your photographer. Your day was magic from start to finish, and I loved capturing every minute of it!
