Melissa & Siva's wedding was such a fun one to photograph, and it all started in the perfect place - right outside Whidden Hall at McMaster University! Since this is where these two first met during their first year, it made the sweetest location for their first look. Watching them see each other for the first time in such a meaningful spot was the perfect way to kick off the day.
From there, we wandered around campus capturing plenty of McMaster University wedding photos. The campus has so much variety, from beautiful pathways to historic architecture, making it one of my favourite places for portraits. To make it even more special, Melissa wore a stunning bright red dress to celebrate her heritage. The colour looked incredible against the greenery and classic university buildings, and these McMaster University wedding photos turned out absolutely beautiful.
Their ceremony took place outside on the patio at Phoenix McMaster before everyone headed inside for the reception. Melissa changed into a classic white wedding dress, and we headed back outside for golden hour portraits around campus. The soft evening light paired with the historic buildings, gardens, and tree-lined walkways gave us endless opportunities for beautiful McMaster University wedding photos. Golden hour never disappoints, and these two made my job so easy with how natural and happy they were together.
