We kicked off the day with getting ready photos right at Calamus Estate Winery, which made for such a relaxed start. Once everyone was ready, Kassandra and Bradley shared an emotional first look surrounded by the vineyards. It was the perfect way to spend a few quiet moments together before the celebrations began.
Next up were wedding party photos by the barn. It was definitely a windy day, but thankfully Kassandra had her hair up, which saved us from fighting the wind all afternoon! We also found some great sheltered spots behind the barn that worked perfectly. Considering rain had been in the forecast all week, I'll happily take a little wind instead!
One of my favourite parts of the day was the incredible vintage orange truck that's been in Kass's family for years. It added so much personality to their Calamus Estate Winery wedding photos. We used it for portraits with the couple as well as some fun wedding party photos, and it made every image feel that much more unique!
Their ceremony took place on the lawn with the vineyards creating an incredible backdrop. It's one of my favourite ceremony locations at Calamus Estate Winery, and it couldn't have been a more beautiful setting for them to say "I do."
The reception moved inside the gorgeous barn, and I can never get enough of this space. The huge wall of windows at the back fills the room with the most beautiful natural light, making Calamus Estate Winery wedding photos look amazing throughout the entire evening. Before the party really got going, we snuck out for golden hour and were rewarded with the dreamiest glow over the vineyard. It was absolutely worth it!
To wrap up an already incredible day, the dance floor stayed packed all night long and everyone celebrated the newlyweds exactly the way they deserved.
