This charming historic space was the perfect spot to kick off their big day. The getting-ready vibe was so calm and organised—shoutout to everyone for being perfectly on time (a photographer's dream!). And the invitation suite? Absolutely stunning. It was perfect for those dreamy flat-lay detail shots that wedding albums were made for!
Once everyone was ready to roll, we headed to Ancaster Mill for pre-ceremony wedding party photos. Keeping the bridal party and groomsmen separate added a touch of suspense, saving that special first look for the aisle. It’s always such a magical moment! The ceremony in the historic chapel was as beautiful as ever. Samantha’s veil—oh my goodness—was a total showstopper! It was the longest one I’ve ever worked with, and it added so much drama and elegance to every photo.
After Samantha and Javier’s heartfelt “I dos,” we transitioned to family portraits and some fun wedding party shots. Everyone brought their A-game, making these moments a breeze to capture. Next, it was all about Samantha and Javier’s couple portraits, and what better place than the picturesque Ancaster Mill grounds? From the waterfall to the rustic bridges, this venue never disappoints. The two of them were so fun and giggly, making my job easy and the photos natural and full of life.
Then, it was time to celebrate! The reception in the Governors Room was pure magic, filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and delicious food. The room’s warm, intimate vibe was the perfect setting for dinner and speeches. And let me tell you, once the music started, the dance floor exploded with energy. From sweet slow dances to some truly epic moves, the night ended on a high note.
