Nicole & Matt’s wedding day at the Cotton Factory was the perfect blend of creativity, emotion, and pure fun from start to finish. We kicked things off with getting ready photos at the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel downtown, where the energy was buzzing early. Both Nicole and Matt were so calm but excited – you could tell they were just ready to see each other!
Their first look and private vows took place in the courtyard at the Cotton Factory, surrounded by those signature orange brick walls and massive industrial windows that make this place so unique. It was such a sweet and genuine moment – just the two of them, soaking it all in before the day really got going.
Afterwards, we wandered around for wedding party and family photos, both outside and inside the building. One of my favourite parts of shooting at the Cotton Factory is how every corner has a story – from textured walls to local art pieces tucked around the hallways. Nicole and Matt picked this venue because of their love for art and museums, and you could totally feel that connection come through in their choice. It’s not just a venue – it’s an experience.
The ceremony took place in the Imperial Cotton Room, and wow – what a space! The tall ceilings, warm light, and industrial charm created the perfect backdrop for their “I do’s.” After a quick flip, the same room turned into their dinner and reception space, and the energy was incredible. Heartfelt speeches, laughter, and then an absolutely wild dance floor to end the night – the kind that makes you wish the party never stopped.
Nicole and Matt, thank you so much for having me as your photographer! Your day at the Cotton Factory was filled with so much joy, creativity, and love – I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to capture.
