As a wedding photographer, I have the absolute joy of capturing love stories in the most beautiful places, and Marla & Dan’s wedding was a rustic dream come true! The day started with getting ready photos, with Dan and his crew at a nearby AirBnB and Marla with her wedding party in the cozy onsite suite. Both groups were full of energy and laughs as they got dressed—it’s always fun capturing those candid moments of excitement (and a few silly antics from the groomsmen!).
Their first look was a magical moment just outside the venue. Watching Marla and Dan see each other for the first time, surrounded by fall colours, was unforgettable. Afterward, we explored the grounds for photos with their wedding party and some intimate shots of just the two of them. The cider house with its gorgeous wood exterior and striking red door was the perfect backdrop. And the barn? Absolute rustic perfection!
The ceremony took place in the barrel room of the barn, and wow—what a vibe! The moody lighting and rustic barrels made the space feel so intimate and romantic. Marla & Dan exchanged vows surrounded by love, and I couldn’t help but feel honoured to capture every heartfelt moment.
As the sun started to set, we headed to the orchard for golden hour photos. That light! It wrapped around Marla & Dan like a warm hug, making for some of the dreamiest images of the day. These are the photos that truly feel like magic.
The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and all the usual celebration fun, but the grand finale? A sparkler exit that was pure fire (pun intended)! Watching these two walk through a tunnel of light surrounded by their loved ones was the perfect way to end the night.
