The day started at The Arlington Hotel, where Griffin was getting ready in the rustic Barrel Room. The space was buzzing with positive energy, as his groomsmen and friends kept the vibe fun and relaxed. These moments of camaraderie always make for the best candid shots, and Griffin’s crew did not disappoint! After capturing these joyful moments, I made my way to Nadine’s family home nearby.
Nadine’s getting-ready moments were equally lively. Surrounded by her bridal party and close friends, the house was filled with laughter and heartfelt moments. From the delicate details of Nadine’s gown to the first looks with her bridesmaids, every detail told a story.
Next stop: River’s Edge Paris for the first look! Inside this charming venue, Nadine & Griffin saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. It was an emotional and beautiful moment. We then braved the cool weather for some outdoor portraits with the stunning Arlington Hotel as our backdrop. The blend of Paris’s small-town charm with a touch of European elegance made for breathtaking shots. And of course, we snagged a few romantic portraits inside the hotel too — it’s an iconic spot for a reason!
The ceremony at River’s Edge was unforgettable. I adore the exposed red brick wall in the venue—it added so much character to their vows. Afterward, we explored the bridge nearby, capturing portraits along the river with the venue in the background. The setting felt straight out of a European postcard, perfect for showcasing Nadine & Griffin’s love.
The day wrapped up with a lively reception back at River’s Edge. There were heartfelt speeches, plenty of laughter, and dancing that kept the energy high all night long. Nadine & Griffin’s friends and family sure know how to celebrate!
