Nicole & Brock’s Hamilton Club wedding was one for the books for sure! This was actually my first time photographing a wedding at The Hamilton Club, and wow—I was seriously impressed. From the rich history to the stunning interior details, it’s easy to see why this downtown Hamilton spot is such a hidden gem as a wedding venue.
We kicked things off with getting ready right at The Hamilton Club. The upstairs rooms are full of character, with tall windows that let in the most beautiful light—perfect for those calm, emotional getting-ready moments. It’s always such a treat to work in spaces that were clearly made with great photos in mind!
Nicole & Brock had their first look downstairs in the bar, and let me tell you—this space is a vibe. Moody lighting, rich wood tones, and a cool, modern yet vintage atmosphere made it one of my new favourite photo spots. Honestly, it’s a dream location for any photographer!
After taking some portraits around the venue (which gave us those perfect moody tones), we headed to McMaster University for some outdoor photos. I loved mixing the dramatic look of The Hamilton Club with some greenery and softer light from the university grounds—it gave their downtown Hamilton wedding gallery the best of both worlds.
The ceremony and cocktail reception were held back at The Hamilton Club, and the whole vibe was intimate and full of heart. Every corner of this place feels special, and it really set the tone for a cozy, meaningful celebration. Once the speeches wrapped and the first dances were done, the dancefloor exploded—what a way to end the night!
