What a day it was! Courtney and Matt’s wedding at the Royal Botanical Gardens Rock Garden was an absolute dream come true—finally, a wedding this year with no rain in sight!
We started the day at a charming Burlington hotel, where the excitement was already in the air. I first met with Matt, who was cool, calm, and collected as he prepared for the big day. Then, I moved on to Courtney, who looked absolutely radiant and ready to walk down the aisle.
Our next stop was the Rock Garden, where Courtney and Matt had their intimate first look. The Rock Garden’s natural beauty provided the perfect backdrop for this special moment. Watching their faces light up as they saw each other for the first time was a highlight of the day. After the first look, we explored the stunning grounds for wedding party photos and couple portraits. The garden offered a seemingly endless array of picturesque spots, each more breathtaking than the last!
The ceremony itself was held on the beautiful lawn, surrounded by the lush, serene setting of the Rock Garden. It was a heartfelt and moving ceremony that perfectly complemented the natural beauty around them. Following the ceremony, we moved on to family formals, capturing those precious moments with loved ones.
The reception was held inside the Rock Garden’s atrium, which was nothing short of spectacular. Here’s a fun fact: the atrium’s ceiling is designed to look like a leaf, adding a whimsical touch to the already stunning space. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches and joyful celebrations.
As the sun began to set, we took advantage of the golden hour for some final photos with the newlyweds. The warm, glowing light provided a magical touch to the end of a perfect day.
A huge thank you to Courtney and Matt for allowing me to capture these incredible moments. Your love story was a joy to photograph, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it!
